Roots & Drive
Roots & Drive is a Bluegrass band established in Lyon, France.
Founded in 2015, these five musicians draw inspiration from bands such as Blue Highway or The Lonesome River Band.

The musical repertoire is a mix of original compositions and cover songs, with a thorough respect for Bluegrass Music fundamentals, but bringing a touch of modernity to it. Authentic energy enhances 3 part tight vocal harmonies.
Having recorded two albums, the Roots & Drive band is coming to maturity with soulful and original songwriting and arrangements. After "Lost In The Rain", that brought together bluegrass cover songs and original titles in the Bluegrass and Swing styles, the more recent "Through the years" album discloses a more personal musical universe through modern and virtuosic original music in a pure and fresh Bluegrass style.
